Specialized Treatment

Kym is glad to provide her patients with specialized treatments for pain management. She offers trigger point injections for localized pain and, she is an enrolled practitioner in the NYS Medical Marijauna certification program.

Two Locations

Kym Cannizzaro is a New York State Board Certified Adult Care Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Chronic Pain Management. Her path 30 years ago started as a Medical Assistant in an area medical practice. Kym wanted to deepen her involvement in patient care and medical knowledge. She proudly attended and graduated from Erie Community College with her Nursing degree and she has served the Western New York community for over twenty years. Kym continued her path and completed both the Bachelor's and Master's programs at Daemen University. During her clinical training, she was struck most by patients who were afflicted with chronic pain and its symptoms which caused physical limitations and mental anguish. Her experiences led her to the field of Chronic Pain Management where she has worked since beginning her career as a Nurse Practitioner. As a Chronic Pain Management Specialist she has helped restore her patients physical and mental well-being by helping them control their pain and resume an active life.
